A "drumstick" is the long, green, and slender seed pod of the Moringa oleifera tree. Famous in South Asian cuisine, it has a mild, earthy, asparagus-like flavor. The soft inner pulp is scraped out and eaten, while the woody exterior is discarded. It is highly nutritious, packed with Vitamin C, calcium, and iron
